Congratulations to District Superintendent Charles Dedrick, who has been named to the American Association of School Administrator's Governing Board.
Dedrick
was elected to a three-year term. The
American Association of School Administrators (AASA), founded in
1865, is the professional organization for more than 13,000
educational leaders in the United States and worldwide. AASA members
include chief executive officers, superintendents, senior level
school administrators, professors and aspiring school system
leaders. AASA's activities focus on advocacy, leadership development
and resource development.
Members of the Governing Board represent their home state and participate in AASA decision making.
The election follows Dedrick's recent recognition from University at Albany, which awarded him a 2011 Alumni Association Excellence Award earlier this month.
