Employees spend holiday weekend scanning tests

For many, Memorial Day weekend means sunny weather, barbecues and time with friends and family. At NERIC, employees spent the holiday scanning state tests for the region's schools.

Edythe Alcombright, NERIC's operations supervisor, said timing of the state tests necessitated the weekend work. More than 250,000 tests were scanned.
