DiLallo elected in August 12 vote

Congratulations and welcome to Gary DiLallo, who was elected to the BOCES Board of Education August 12.

DiLallo is completing the position vacated by John Yagielski, who resigned June 30 so that he can focus on his new position as Interim Superintendent of Schenectady Schools.

DiLallo is a retired Mechanicville social studies teacher and also serves on the Shenendehowa Board of Education. He has served as president and vice president of the Shenendehowa board, and as president of the Saratoga County School Boards Association. He has a bachelor's degree in social studies, a master's degree in educational administration and has completed graduate work. His extensive community service includes coaching soccer and football.
