Schoharie
County Community Action Program has an account set-up at the Bank of
Richmondville (branches are in Schoharie,
Cobleskill, and Richmondville). This
account is set-up specifically for Irene relief, and 100% goes to
the victims. They are
accepting cash, check, and gift cards. Checks should have in
the notes section "Hurricane Relief."
They are also collecting diapers, infant formula, water,
non-perishable food, and cleaning supplies;

Esperance Elks Lodge at 111 Main Street in Esperance is working with
the Red Cross and taking donations of clothes, bath essentials,
cleaning supplies, and school supplies. For directions, call the
lodge at 875-6200. The Elks also welcome residents in need to come
to the lodge from 11 am - 5 pm to pick up what they need.
