Capital Region BOCES offers several services delivered through cross contracts with other BOCES and those delivered through cooperative agreements with other agencies.

Any cost for these services is determined by the BOCES or agency that is delivering them. The Capital Region BOCES charges no coordination fee for these services.

State Aid Planning

This service, offered through cross-contract with Questar III, provides schools with a review of all major state aid proposals and their local impact. It also includes help in the design and implementation of information management systems to support financial planning.

Coaching In-Service

Two courses are offered through cross-contract with Questar III. The first, 36 hours long, covers the philosophy and organization of athletics in education. The second, 49 hours long, covers health services applied to coaching, including anatomy, physiology, first aid and CPR.

On-Line Application System (OLAS)

This service is possible through a contract with Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES. OLAS features an Internet-based application that is accessible to job applicants and to school districts from any computer with Internet access.
