Every school district has its stories
to tell, and video is one of the most compelling ways to
help viewers share in those stories with their own eyes and
ears. Today, 80 percent of Internet users
download video—and that figure will
only grow in the years to come.
The Capital Region BOCES Communications Service can help school
districts harness the power of Web-based,
broadcast and distributable video through its Shared Video
Communications Service.
Through the BOCES Shared Video Communication Service, school districts can capitalize on their use of video without having to invest in the necessary camera gear and computer hardware/software while utilizing the skills and collective experience of our trained communications specialists and graphic artists. "Careers without limits"
Video has proven to be an excellent way for the Capital Region BOCES Career & Technical School to connect with local high school and adult students and give them a look inside the school’s classrooms, labs and shops. Posting the video on the school’s website and YouTube reaches students who attend schools that do not host Career & Tech presentations, as well as adult career-changers and businesses and agencies that may wish to partner with the Career & Technical School.
