RSE-TASC's Special Education School Improvement Specialists (SESIS) focus their work with school districts to improve instructional practices, primarily in the areas of literacy, behavioral supports and special education for students with disabilities. The school improvement goals, targeted improvement activities and assessment of progress toward improving student outcomes are documented and monitored for results through the Quality Improvement Process (QIP).

Special Education School Improvement Specialists (SESIS) Renee Beaulieu, Meagan Kumar and Darcy Williams coach targeted districts in root-cause analysis/problem solving and solution identification processes that form the basis for comprehensive district professional development plans. TASC provides job-embedded professional development with priority given to targeted districts; high need non-targeted districts may receive services based on district Comprehensive Educational Plans.
